Congrats on nearing the completion of an Associates in Engineering Technology. I would consider starting your career with an internship if you've not yet had one. You can search for Electrical Engineering Internships and read through the job descriptions to see what the responsibilities would entail. Doing an internship will get you exposure to the different aspects of the field. You will also meet a lot of people who can help guide you to determining the next step in your career.

Like Ashlyn stated, internshps could be your best course of action. This would give you experience with a company and assist with the transition into a permanent full time role when you are done. Some bigger companies also offer tuition expense reimbursement as you finish your Electrical Engineering degree. You could also look at technican positions that could allow you the flexability to work in a lab and take classes. They would give you hands on experience for your degree.
