You've posed an interesting question. What are you interested in doing specifically related to social justice? There are many organizations that focus on these issues and you'll need to determine what areas of social justice appeal to you most. The field is broad, as an example you could focus on civil, immigration, criminal justice, disability, gender, elder and child rights just to name a few areas. First, do some research and determine where your passion rests and then I suggest you think about the type of role you'd like working for an organization in this area.
As you are aware organizations have various roles, is your focus solely on working in that field doing any role or doing a specific role (e.g. program manager, administrative, advocate) utilizing the skills you've already obtained thus far in your career. If you go online you can do a search and get a comprehensive list of the social justice organizations and start connecting and networking with people to learn more about their work and let them know of your interest. I wish you all of the best as you move forward!
