I would agree with everything Jacob said. The first step would be to make contact with your former supervisor or recruiting contact. Prior to doing this though, I think it's important to ensure you are familiar with the opportunities they have available. It is best to be direct in your message and your goals for returning to the company. When reaching out, I would try to demonstrate your passion for returning to the company and showcase how the skills you learned in your previous internship will help make you successful, along with the additional coursework you have taken since leaving the position. As always, ensure you attach the most up-to-date version of your resume. If the company has their internship positions posted online, I would ensure you submit an application there as well.
