Is it better to use my personally created resume or the one that a website like teamwork online provides?

Ultimately, I'm not sure it matters, as long as it is good.  I tend to like a more personalized version and yes, those of us with experience, can generally tell when it is and when it is not.  One thing to think about is the job/career you are pursuing, if it is in anyway creative, personalize your resume, use your creativity...a designer for example, is not interested in a cookie cutter resume.  Last thing, you may want to have two versions of your resume, one for "the machines" - many companies use AI to process resumes, so whether yours is personalized or not will make little difference, but AI tends to like standard formats.  If you are sharing a resume with someone personally (online or in-person) you should personalize it to help differentiate yourself from the masses.

If you are creating your resume from scratch, it may be good to use a site that will put together a general format for you to get your job history organized. You can then personalize it and adjust it as you see fit. Remember to include any information about you that you would like a recruiter or hiring manager to know. Let's say for example your background is in Finance but now you'd like to switch gears and move more into a marketing role. Put a one liner at the top or a couple line summary so the person reviewing your resume knows why you applied for the role. Good luck in your job search!

It's important to remember that your resume is a document that markets you to companies.  It is not an employment application. I find the best resume's are the ones that tell someone more about your accomplishments and not just a list of your skills and job duties.  Your accomplishments reflect your work behaviors that you bring to each job.   Think about quantifying you accomplishments to allow people to easily see what you can do.  Quantifying can be time and money saved on the job by your actions.
